The Monthly Skillful Sequencing Series is recommended for students that are interested in the David Meloni’s thoughtful and insightful preparation and building up  of asanas.  This systematic approach helps students to better understand and develop the key elements within each pose to bring it into their personal practice and teaching.

CLASS FOCUS:

Progressive and systematic breaking down and building up of the poses with supports / props to bring essential awareness and understanding.

Join David Meloni to hone your skills and deepen your practice in his Skillful Sequencing Series on Fridays. Utilize the recordings (available for 30-days) to support your practice and study.

PRE-REQUISITES:

  • Minimum 2 year of Iyengar Yoga practice.

  • 5 minute free - standing Salamba Sirsasana I in the middle of the room.

  • 5 minute free - standing Salamba Sarvangasana I in the middle of the room.

  • Can push up into Urdhva Dhanurasana directly from the floor.

  • No therapeutics and / or can manage by oneself.

PROPS: 3 sticky mats, 2 backless yoga chairs, 2 bolsters, 4 bricks, 4 regular length belts or 2 long belts, and 4 blankets (or more), 2 small mat pieces or additional 2 easily foldable sticky mats, and open wall space (enough to do Ardha Chandrasana with back against the wall).
