"PRACTICE OF SYLLABUS 1️⃣ POSES: Deconstructing & Building Up" • 2-Class Course
Explore Effective Methods to Practice
March 28th - 29th • 6:00 - 8:00 PM CET
Have you ever wondered if there is a more effective way to approach and practice the Syllabus 1 poses?
As we know, practice is key — but effective practice is the true differentiator. It builds a clear foundation for deeper learning, enhances access to the Asanas, and develops the skills needed to eventually teach them.
This course is designed to guide students toward a richer understanding of:
ALIGNMENT & AWARENESS - How to practice poses safely and with awareness
ACTIONS - The key actions within each pose and why they matter
LINKING - How those key actions connect across categories of poses
BUILDING - How to build a foundation that opens the door to more challenging and advanced poses
GROWTH - How to develop the discernment, skill, and longevity of practice that cultivates the true qualities of Yoga
In each 2-class course, David Meloni will target a selection of poses — deconstructing and rebuilding them so that students develop a thoughtful, coherent approach to their practice, using the Syllabus 1 poses as a blueprint.
Come prepared to be fully immersed — physically and mentally — as David transmits the essence of Guruji BKS Iyengar's teachings through an accessible and grounded approach to Asana and Yoga.
